Antagonistic Effect of Trichoderma Asperellum on Pepper Blight

Dec 20, 2023 Leave a message

In the vegetable greenhouse base in Changshu City, Jiangsu Province, the Dora test team conducted a test on the control effect and application technology of 300 million CFU/g wettable trichoderma asperellum fertilizer on pepper fusarium wilt.

Blight on peppers is very common. Therefore, this experiment used different concentrations of trichoderma asperellum fertilizer on 3,000 pepper plants. At the same time, ensure that the soil type, cultivation conditions, water and fertilizer management in each experimental area are consistent.

The specific processing is as follows:

1. Trichoderma asperellum wettable powder 3 000 times liquid with irrigation.
2. Trichoderma asperellum wettable powder 2 000 times liquid with irrigation.
3. Trichoderma harzianum wettable powder 2 000 times liquid with irrigation.

4. Trichoderma asperellum wettable powder 600 times liquid with foliar spray.

5. Trichoderma asperellum wettable powder 200 times liquid with foliar spray.
Record the number of diseased, dead, or obviously wilted plants.

Discussion

Trichoderma is a biocontrol strain that is safe and effective against pathogenic bacteria on crops. It can inhibit or kill pathogenic bacteria by parasitizing, producing lytic enzymes, stimulating immune responses and other measures. Trichoderma conidia have strong survival ability in nature, thus achieving long-term control of pathogenic bacteria.

Trichoderma asperellum has very good survival potential and the ability to adapt to various ecological environments. It is widely present in soil, plant rhizosphere and leaves.

Trichoderma asperellum has a significant effect on controlling pepper fusarium wilt, and its validity period can reach more than 30 days. The application method of this biological agent is mainly to irrigate the roots or spray the base of the stem. Soil application is also a good choice.

Dora Agritech supports custom formulations of the Trichoderma range. Such as Trichoderma harzianum + Trichoderma viride, Trichoderma harzianum + Trichoderma reesei.
