1. Purpose
Test the nutritional and yield increasing effects of Dora Alga200TM in winter carrot planting.

2.1．Materials
Carrot seeds, NPK fertilizer, Dora Alga200TM
2.2．Methods
The experiment was conducted in the openfield of Guangming Village, Changshu City. The planting field area is 1/60 ha. The control group use regular NPK fertilizer. The treated group was extraly applied with Dora Alga200TM. The whole planting season was during September to January next year.
During the growth process, take photos to record the frost damage of the carrots. When carrots are harvested, total yield, stem diameter of carrots, yield of carrots within a range of the same size range, and stem diameter are measured. And finally calculate the proportion of carrots with commercial value.
3. Trial Photos
The image demonstrates the good nutritional benefits of Alga200TM, its efficacy in frost damage protection, and its role in enhancing the quality of carrots.
4. Conclusion
The study summarized in Table 3 and Figures. 2 and 3 indicates that the application of Alga200TM has a positive effect on carrot growth. Distribution analysis of carrot volumes showed that the control group had a higher percentage of smaller carrots (30-40 cm³) while the Alga200TM treated group favored the larger volume categories (40-60 cm³ and >60 cm³).
This shift in volume distribution suggests that Alga200TM promotes growth to larger sizes.
Furthermore, the yield of the Alga200TM treated group was significantly higher at 9.70 kg, compared to 8.04 kg for the control group. The average single weight and volume of carrots were also greater in the Alga200TM treated group, with single weights increasing by approximately 7.74 grams, and volume by 4.43 cm³ on average.

Overall, these results suggest the Alga200TM treatment enhances carrot's quality in yield, weight, and volume, help carrot plants build cold stress resistance.
