The Chile Cherry Blossom Festival was recently successfully held in Chimbarongo, marking the start of Chile's 2024/25 cherry season. According to the Chilean website "Simfruit", Claudia Soler, manager of the Cherry Committee of the Chilean Fruit Association (Frutas de Chile), stated that in the 2024/25 season, Chile will export 132 million boxes of cherries, equivalent to 657,900 tons, a year-on-year increase of 59%, setting a new record high. China will remain the main export market.
Niu Qingbao, Chinese Ambassador to Chile, said, "Cherry trade not only benefits Chilean fruit farmers but also brings joy to Chinese consumers. The sweet and sour Chilean cherries are a wonderful gift for Chinese consumers during the Spring Festival. I hope and believe that Chile's 2024/25 cherry season will be a bountiful one, bringing more benefits to both China and Chile."
Looking ahead, China and Latin America are highly complementary in the field of agricultural trade. China-Latin America agricultural product trade is expected to continue growing. The improvement of Chinese residents' consumption level and the upgrading of consumption structure will further expand the demand for high-quality agricultural products from Latin American countries. At the same time, Latin American countries have a large demand for China's agricultural technology and agricultural service trade. The Chilean market has a high acceptance of high-quality products, and Chilean growers have a strong demand for improving crop quality and yield, particularly focusing on the effects of products in enhancing the appearance, taste, and freshness of fruits.
However, with global climate change and over-exploitation of natural resources, problems such as severe soil compaction, declining crop quality, and ecological environmental damage continue to emerge. Traditional fertilizers lack targeted effects on soil nutrient loss, soil barrenness, and climate anomalies. At the same time, a single substance cannot effectively solve the increasingly complex planting problems. The coordinated treatment of multiple substances, such as biostimulants, metabolites, plant and animal extracts, and mineral nutrients, is more suitable for addressing complex issues. Thus, Dora Kelpreal and Fishblend were born. Dora is committed to developing biostimulant formula products with multiple functions to meet the multiple challenges in the growth process of crops. Kelpreal can significantly improve the tolerance of crops to abiotic stresses such as low temperature, high temperature, drought, salinity, and flooding. Fishblend enhances the growth, quality, and taste of crops. The Dora biostimulant series products have won unanimous praise from customers at home and abroad for their effectiveness in increasing crop nutrition, yield, and quality.
