General Information
Gibberellins or Gibberellic Acid (GA3) is one of the key plant hormones involved in plant growth and development, and is currently the most widely used plant growth regulator.
The main physiological functions of GA3 are to promote plant cell division, stem and leaf elongation, accelerate plant growth and development, induce early maturity in crops, increase yield, and improve quality.

Functions
1. Promotes larger leaves and roots.
2. Increases cell growth in stems, leaves, and roots.
3. Produces long, slender stems in standard and semi-standard horticultural crops.
4. Increases stem length of some commercial flower crops.
5. Improves growth of young plants from cuttings, seeds, or stalks.
6. Helps plants suffering from nutrient and growth deficiencies.
7. Improves crop resistance to environmental stresses like low temperature, high salinity, drought and hypertonicity.
8. Promotes seed germination and breaks dormancy.
Tips of GA3 Application
1. Avoid use with alkaline substances; may be used with neutral or weakly acidic substances.
2. Must be stored under cool, dry conditions. Use immediately after adding water.
3. It requires adequate water and fertilizer to work well, cannot replace fertilizer.
4. Prepared solution should not stand too long to maintain efficacy.
5. Avoid heating above 60°C, will lose effectiveness.
6. It has strong physiological activity at low concentrations, so amount and concentration must be strictly controlled.
