The objective was to investigate the effects of alginate oligosaccharides of different concentrations on the growth, yield and quality of cucumber, and to study the mechanism of alginate oligosaccharide on crops.

Trial Conclusion
1. Alginate oligosaccharide promotes the growth and development of cucumber seedlings, mainly demonstrated by an increase in biomass (plant height, stem diameter) with increasing concentration, as well as an increase in leaf count. Compared to the unsprayed group, the biomass of the sprayed group was improved, and fruit yield has also increased.
2. After spraying the Dora AOS, the quality of the fruit was improved. Among them, the vitamin C content of 0.1% concentration increased the most significantly, which was 1.34 times that of the non-spraying group. The treatment effect of soluble protein content 0.5% was 1.59 times that of non-spray group. The results of 0.2% and 0.3% soluble sugar were the best, and both groups were 1.39 times that of the unsprayed group.
3. After spraying algae oligosaccharides, the CAT activity of cucumber leaves significantly increased (p<0.05). The 0.2% treatment group was 1.40 times that of the non-spraying group, and the 0.2% treatment group during fruit stage was 5.03 times that of the non-spraying group. The POD activity of the leaves was stimulated, and the SOD activity of 0.2% treatment group was 1.01 times that of non-spray group, and there was no significant increase. The activities of CAT, POD, SOD, APX and GR in fruit were increased, and the increases were the largest in 0.2% treatment group compared with CK.
